With the “Green Energy Balance Project” the company Green Industry Kft. is realizing a future-oriented vision of sustainability, environmental protection and efficient use of resources with the courage to innovate.

The decision to locate this project was made in the Hungarian municipality of Neszmely, in the Komárom-Esztergom district. In 2020, Green Industry Kft. purchased a property of around 200 hectares. This area is home to a red mud dump, a relic of a former aluminum production site. Green Industry Kft. has developed a project for this location that sets an example for nature conservation by closing and renovating this landfill facility, as soil containing pollutants is rehabilitated in an environmentally friendly way.

 

After soil remediation, the project companies Noridom Energy Kft. and Neszmely Energy Kft., both subsidiaries of Green Industry Kft., will build one of the largest energy storage facilities in Central Europe. At the beginning there is the construction of a photovoltaic system, which is to be built in 4 project phases. Since this type of renewable electricity generation is tied to the sunny hours of the year, an innovative energy storage system is coupled to the photovoltaic system.
